About WanderMundo

WanderMundo is a web app you use in your browser on a phone or computer, with nothing to install. You pick a language and a scenario, such as ordering at a restaurant, checking into a hotel or a job interview, and chat with an AI tutor that answers at your level. When you make a mistake, a small correction card appears under your message with the corrected sentence and a one-line reason in your own language.

You can type or use the microphone, and Talk mode gives you a live spoken conversation with a transcript. Missions give each conversation two or three goals and a score of one to three stars. After every session you get a short report.

We believe learning a new language is the best gift you can give yourself. The method is simple: speak from day one, and practice the things real conversation is made of.

• Speak from day one. Even total beginners answer with tap-to-answer options and an "I don't know how to say it" button, so nobody is stuck in silence.
• Tell stories in the past. Real conversation is mostly telling what happened, so Story mode has you tell the tutor about your weekend or a trip, with a Story kit of useful past-tense words.
• Magic Keys. English-to-target word patterns, such as -tion to -ción in Spanish, unlock many words at once, with warnings about false friends.
• Mistake memory. Every correction is saved, and the tutor works on your most common mistakes in later sessions.
• Spaced review. Words you save and mistakes you make come back as review cards just before you would forget them.
• Comprehensible listening. Graded podcast episodes from A1 to C2, with an English-speaking host guiding beginners and the English fading as you level up.

WanderMundo is for people who want to speak a language, not just recognize it: travelers, people who need a language for work, learners preparing to talk with family or a partner, and anyone who has studied for years but still freezes in conversation. It works for total beginners and for advanced learners.

It is not for people who want an official certificate, human teachers, pronunciation scores or an offline app. WanderMundo is AI practice in the browser and does not give certificates.

WanderMundo teaches Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and Mandarin Chinese. The tutor uses polite standard speech by default, simplified characters for Mandarin, and Japanese and Korean script without romanization.

WanderMundo covers every CEFR level from A1 to C2, plus a Total beginner start with ten First Words lessons for people who know no words at all.
